JUNE 2014

bailey-D win-2

Team FC309 continue their success after Dannys outright win at Silverstone mid-May, by dominating the series on May 31st on the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit. Danny put the Peugeot on 'pole-position' after battling against slippery conditions, but didn't have it all his way after Matt Moore in the awesome MK1 Escort RSR also with YB power was ready to put up a fight. Matt took the lead early on and it looked like Danny was to settle for second, though be it just a second behind. But that little second began to dwindle as Danny began to real the Escort in and suddenly we were in with a chance. Matt left the door open going into Druids with just a few laps to go and Danny was ready to pounce, but Matt had nothing to offer in return.
Being local we had a massive following all plotted up in racingevents.info suite, bang on the start finish line, so 'no pressure' for Ricky on pole yet again, courtesy of Dannys win, this time right alongside Matt Moore who was hot to trott! Boost loaded, Ricky steamed to the first bend but Matt was soon filling his mirrors, along with Tom Carey's CRX, but the endurance pedigree saw the others fall by the wayside as time went on and Ricky returned with another set of laurels and a big, big smile in deed! NEXT STOP MALLORY PARK JULY 20TH !
